Girls joining our Starburst pre-team class will be training to advance to our JO competitive team. There are two - 1½ hour practices per week. Throughout the year, these gymnasts will have opportunities to practice with the competitive girls’ team and they will be introduced to more difficult skills. In addition to gymnastics skills, there is an emphasis on developing technique, flexibility, posture & strength. Pre-team athletes will be invited to participate in community events with Tumbleweeds to show off their skills and prepare them for performing in front of judges and spectators. Starburst is for girls ages 4-6.
